Ministry of Correction of Georgia releases a statement regarding the wounded prisoners who were taken to the hospital yesterday from Geguti jail. According to the ministry, the prisoners’ health condition is good at this stage.

Subari’s office is reported that at this time, seventeen prisoners are returned to the detention facility.

"The night of February 10, 2014, 17 prisoners were transferred to civilian from the N14 prison. All of them have received proper medical care. For the moment, all seventeen convicts returned to the facility. Prisoners are in good health condition and their lives are not in danger. The team of the prison health care arrived from Tbilisi with Geguti N14 prison doctors provided medical aid to 14 prisoners whose health condition is also stable. The prisoners have self-injuries mainly on their upper limbs. Use of force by the prison administration did not take place. The situation is under control. There are Deputies of ministry of Correction, the head of the Medical Department and the leaders of the Department of Corrections " – it is said in a statement.
