Andre Babayan, a former officer of the Georgian army, now a software engineer in Los Angeles,, took part in the design of a new electronic currency. He developed a procedure and a program for users to verify the software quality. In the development of CloudCoin, a revolutionary technology, replacing the blockchain system employed in crypto-currencies, is used. The new technology is called RAIDA (Redundant Array of Independent Detection Agents). This is the second technology (block chain being the first one), which helps to solve the problem of physical integrity, a characteristic problem of digital currencies.
Andre, native of Tbilisi, graduate of the Tbilisi 37th secondary Russian school and the Military Red Banner Institute of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR in Moscow, developed a program that tests CloudCoin electronic currency for bugs. It is about to guarantee to users the safety of functionality of their computer at interaction with new currency and to control that the program issued by specialists of the consortium corresponds to the technical project. "andre provides Cloudcoin with a high level of confidence from consumers, and this is his main achievement," says Sean Worthington, founder of the project for creating a new electronic currency, computer science teacher from California, who believes the contribution of the Georgian origin specialist extremely valuable.
Andre is living in Los Angeles since August 1993, he has been working in the IT industry for more than 23 years. Over the years of working in the industry, he has gained an extensive experience in various kinds of software, both for corporate and for individual use. According to him, he learned about CloudCoin from the interview of the programmer Sergei Zhitinsky to the Russian newspaper Izvestia, and he was interested in the technology itself. He bought several CloudCoin packages and, when testing, found certain shortcomings in the user interface, and then wrote on the feedback found on the e-currency website. Sean Vorthington answered him very quickly and offered to test the quality of the software in the consortium itself.
Andre calls the new technology revolutionary, it is the innovation of technology that prompted him to accept the proposal from Sean. "RAIDA can be used not only in electronic currency," says Andrey, "using this system you can get the authorship of your digital products for centuries by incorporation of a specific electronic number. After that, "steal" your photo or text will be impossible. "
In addition to software testing, Andre is also involved in the registration of Cloudcoin Research Corporation, preparation of documentation for the holding's withdrawal on IPO, which will allow the company to raise additional funds for currency promotion and improvement of user software.
Recall that Georgia is one of the first countries that has been using blockchain technologies to register real estate and business since February 2017 in test mode. In May 2014, Ivanishvili's (at that time ex-Prime Minister's) foundation participated in the investment round of BitFury, by investing 10 million dollars in the company engaged in the production of bitcoins and equipment for mining. The Bitcoin Mining Center was organized in Georgia, which leaded to creating, according to the head of the fundation, twenty high-tech jobs. According to experts, the interest in crypto-currencies in Georgia has been steadily growing over the past several years.
