Businessman Zaza Okuashvili - the founder of Omega Group - released a special statement about the recent developments in Tbilisi.

“My dear friends, due to unmasking Ivanishvili's unfair and robber regime I have to address you from London. I stand together with the people of Georgia and our youth. The traitor Ivanishvili and Gakharia must be held accountable before the state and the law.

Gakharia must resign and an end must be put to his criminal activities. Young people, detained for protecting the dignity of Georgia, must be liberated. The fundamental political changes should happen in the country with Western values so that the free the people could build the country’s future.

The seizure of the country’s all institutions by Ivanishvili, corruption and robbery of the budget must be stopped in order not to ruin our people’s future and so that the ruling power still maintained a chance to repent and ask Georgia’s population for the pardon.

Evil and betrayal are doomed. The truth will always prevail!
